Life gets in the way sometimes

I know its been since last Thursday since I've posted but hey let's
face it, life gets in the way lol. Especially when I'm basically a
single mother and 2 of my 3 kids are in soccer. Plus the weather is
finally breaking so we've been outside playing enjoying the warm
temps. I took Heather to the park today and she had a blast climbing
and sliding down the slides. She didn't care for the swings tho lol.
Then when the older girls got home from school we went out in the
front yard and played with chalk and baseball and catch. Until a stray
dog came upon us and we went in. It looked friendly but I didn't trust
it. Better safe than bitten. Jasmine had her kindergarten graduation
pics taken on Monday. I'm so sad, she has grown up so much in the past
3 years. She'll be the last one to graduate kindergarten at that
school (its closing for being too old for renovation) and Heather
won't start school for another couple years. Heather is keeping me on
my toes tho. Into everything. She runs from the time she wakes up
until the time she goes to bed except for the hour or so of nap time.
Tonight she got a hold of a permanent marker and colored on everything
in her path; TV, TV stand, wall, bookcase, couch, pillow, and the
floor. I got most of it off except the pillow and wall. Kids I tell ya
lol.

The spring soccer season has begun. So far so good. Except for the
really chilly temps as the sun starts to go down. Hopefully it warms
up soon!

As if things just couldnt get any worse...today i was diagnosed with hypertension...i had seen it coming tho. my blood pressure has been up for a few weeks, and over the weekend it was as high as 138/98 (normal is 120/80). So i made the dreaded doctor appointment today thinking and hoping that it was something else. Oh no...I have a family history of high blood pressure, so now me, at just 26 is now on high blood pressure medication! The doctor was like freaking out because I am so young...but look at all that Ive been going through...who wouldnt have high blood pressure? So tomorrow will be day 1 of my meds. Not sure how I will react to them so bare with me if Im not on for a few days.

For us right now its just chillin and laying around. I am stuck at home with kids all week so Saturday’s I usually get out by myself for a bit. Like today I went and got my nails did and brought home lunch for everyone. Sunday’s we dont do anything. I try to make sure that all my cleaning is done by Friday so I dont have to clean on the weekends, except your normal dishes and possibly a load of laundry.

Here in a couple weeks Saturday’s are gonna spent at the soccer fields. Both my older girls are playing again for the spring season, and practices are already underway! The first game is on the 28th. They are really excited that its time for soccer again, especially since theyve been couped up all winter!

Spring where are you?

You are supposed to be right around the corner, but yet i think you are hiding and playing games. just 2 days ago it was 78*, beautiful day! Today, not so much…its just 32* and now soccer practice has been canceled. My Easter lilies are starting to come up, and I would love to see their beautiful blooms. i wish you would make up your mind and bless us with your warm temps and sunny skies! I want to put away the big winter coats and bring out the light jackets. I want the kids to be able to get outside and play and not come in 10 minutes later bc its so flippin cold. Next weeks forecast looks decent except for all the rain chances. But if that's what your going to give us I’ll take it any day over SNOW which is in the forecast for tonight! I don't like the rollercoaster you've got us on; everyone keeps getting sick. So please make up your mind so we can all get out of this winter drab :D and I hope to see you soon…

The ice storm of 2009 as gotten the best of us. We have been without power for about 4 hours now. There's still over 500,000 people in ky without power and we just added to it. They are saying it could be the middle of February before everyone's power is fully restored! I just hope it comes back on soon. Can't cook, can't shower, no lights. We borrowed my sil's kerosene heater so we have heat for now. Pray for us that our power comes back soon!

My baby is not such a baby anymore! She's 8 years old and at her first sleepover! Now she did have a slumber party for her birthday, but she was here at home. Tonight she is away at her friends house. On the plus side she's only up the street in the same subdivision so she's not too far away.
Jasmine isn't too happy about it. She has never been without her *sissy* and she's very sad. She coulda gone but she's sick and I didn't want her getting everyone else sick. Thank god she's having surgery on Friday because I cannot deal with strep throat anymore!
We're having a little sleepover of our own. We're letting her sleep with us tonight. If it doesn't work out then her and I will go out on the couch. She's still little and still my baby lol.

I haven't been sleeping well lately with everything that's been going on so I've been just drained, sleep deprived, and really unmotivated to do anything.
Well last night a super migraine came on. You know the ones that cause lots of pressure in your head and you feel like your gonna get sick? Yeah, one of those.
I took 2 pamprin, for some reason that's the only thing that'll work. I felt myself dozing off at 7 o clock, so I put all the kids to bed about 7:30. I ate a bowl of cereal and layed back down. I was asleep before 8 o clock and slept all night! Until my alarm went off at 6 am to get the kids ready for school. I thought *yeah! I got 10 hours of sleep, I'm good to go for the day.*
Nope, not how it happened. Right as Jessi was getting on the bus I felt my headache coming back. So I layed down again at 7:15 and slept for another hour! Woke up, no headache!
So for a total of 11 hours of sleep I felt damn good. I cleaned the house some, did some laundry, took the baby to the park, played the wii with the girls for a bit, cooked dinner....you know, the housewife stuff lmao! But I felt good doing it. I was like actually in the mood for it. Strange isn't it? I mean, really, who likes to clean? Lol.
Let's just hope I can stay in this mood thru the weekend with my dh home. So far it seems like it won't be a bad weekend, but we'll see by Monday if I'm still in a good mood lmao. He'll probably find some way to fuck it up.

I am very busy this week. I am late pulling my winner for the Build-A-Bear contest, which i am about to do right now. Ive been shopping all week trying to finish up. Getting into the Christmas Spirit!

So about a month ago we got a head start on decorating for the holidays, since Brian is gone all week and the only chance we get to do anything is on the weekends. We only got as far as hanging the lights up outside the first 2 weekends in November.

This was the first week.

The second week.

The next week was Thanksgiving and we went to Michigan so we couldn't get anything done. And we were too tired when we got home from our trip so the rest of it got done yesterday. So I hope you enjoy the pics!

We added a train that was on clearance for $40 at Walmart!!! I've always wanted one and now I do! And yes that is a Christmas Tree that you see on the left side of the pic. We posted it outside, LOL!

We still aren't done. I still need more decorations up inside and I want lights around the front door.

Busy busy Busy

Hey everyone.
Sorry I havent been around lately. I have been crazy busy with reviews and listing contests, and getting ready for the Christmas season that I haven't had time to do much else. Now we went saw Santa yesterday and boy that was a riot! Heather screamed her little head off, her face almost as red as Santa's suit. We put our tree up yesterday and just layed around. I think I may have been a little hungover still from Friday. And now Jasmine is sick, pretty sure it's an ear infection, and possibly strep throat. And Im not feeling all that well either. No, it's not a hangover that's gone. I think I may have another round of bronchitis.

Thanksgiving Review

So Wednesday morning we left to go to Michigan. It was a good ride up there. Not a lot of traffic. The only major thing that happened is when we stopped at a rest area and my phone fell out of the truck. I picked it up and put it in the seat. A little while later driving down the road I grabbed my phone. NO BACK! The back to my phone fell off when it hit the ground! So now I have to go to the sprint store and pray they have a back for my phone. I really don't want a whole new phone because of everything I have on mine. Too much work to replace all the stuff. Thanksgiving was good. We cooked at my sister's. Then after dinner we went to my aunt's to see family that I haven't seen since my wedding in 2007. Some I hadn't seen since 2006! it was a really nice visit. Friday we saw my dad. The kids ended up staying there for the night. Except for Heather because she's little. And well I'm not ready to let her go somewhere for the night without me. Saturday we packed everything up, picked up the girls and hit the road by 3. We were home by 10ish and exhausted! It's so stressful to plan a trip with 3 kids. It takes months to plan and save money. Then it only lasts a few days. Sometimes I wonder if its worth it for only a short visit? But maybe that's why it only happens a couple times a year and the rest of the time my family comes here. They don't have kids to travel with. Its easier for them. LOL.

Michigan Trip for Thanksgiving

My family and I are going to Michigan to spend Thanksgiving with my mom, dad, step-mom, sister, and extended family. Not at all once, lol. Having my mom and step-mom in the same room is not a good idea. lol. we were to leave on Wednesday and come home on Saturday night. Well plans have changed. We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon and get a whole extra day with the fam. I have 2 contests ending tomorrow night. I will still pull the winners on Wednesday, I'm just not sure when I will be able to get to them. They will be pulled using random.org, but I won't be able to do a screen shot of it because I don't want to save anything to my sister's computer. So I will just c and p it to a post. I Remember When #8

For the past few weeks we've been talking about our first's. First crush, first boyfriend, and now we have to come to the inevitable first break up! AHHH LOL

Somehow I missed week 7! I dont why, but I did. Grrrr.

This week’s topic is:
“I remember when… I ever had (or didn’t have) my heart broken”.

So a couple weeks ago I talked about John, my first crush/boyfriend. When we split shortly after my Not-so-sweet Sixteen, I started dating Dennis. At first, like all guys, he was sweet and innocent. Very caring. At one point I had missed my period, and I thought I was pregnant. But Dennis and I hadn't had sex, so it woulda been from John. Dennis said he was going to stand by me. His parents had found out somehow, and it didn't end pretty. There was a huge fight. Dennis got kicked out, so my mom let him stay with us. Mind you, I'm only 16! It turns out I wasn't pregnant, thank God! Shortly after he moved in he was working nights at Taco Bell. They close really late. His car had died so my mom was letting him use her's. He started not coming home until my mom had to go to work. Then I started receiving phone calls about him screwing other girls in my mom's car! I had it. I ended up coming down with pneumonia. I was really sick. I even got dehydrated. My dad came and got me and took me to the hospital. My dad kept me and made me live at his house (a whole other post). The whole freaking truth came out after I moved in with my dad. And I lost it. Just cried and sobbed. We weren't together very long, but he was honestly my first love. Don't ask me why. I guess I have just always fell for the bad boys. LOL. Dennis has grown up a lot. It took him to go to prison to get there, but he's there. He has the cutest family! His daughter looks just like him, and he is marrying her mother in August. We still talk, but never the passed. Too heartwrenching to hear about all that.

OMG if you have not seen the movie you NEED to go as soon as possible! It is so good and I loved every minute of it! I freaked out when Edward came into view, as well as Jacob! Although my favorite is and always will be Edward. I can't wait for the it to come out on DVD because it will be MINE! And I also can't wait for the other books to be made into movies and for them come to theaters. Stephenie Meyer is an awesome writer and I want to thank her very much for such great books!

Oh how I wish I there really is an Edward, he would definitely be MINE, LOL :)

First, I am very sad that my contests are coming to a close. This is the last one until December 1st when my Big party starts!

This is my first review, so please bear with me through this ok?

So, I was very excited when Suzi from Suzihomemaker agreed to let me review her embroidered placemats. Suzi does custom embroidery for the home, school, work and for play, even family reunions. So for your next family reunion think of Suzi! She specializes in personalized baby and children's gifts too!

I got 3 placemats, one for each girl. Let me just tell you, these are the custest placemats I have ever seen! They aren't your typical placemats. These are made of a heavy cotton material, and can withstand just about anything. My kids love them as well. My table stays a lot cleaner, that's nice too.

When I fist received the placemats in the mail, I was really excited and couldn't wait for the kids to get home from school so we could try them out. Although I was a bit skeptical with Heather's because she is still in a high chair, but it works! It is a little big, but she won't eat without it on her tray now, LOL! I guess it's a good thing, less cleaning for mommy. One suggestion would be maybe to make it a tad smaller so it could fit on a standard size high chair tray.

I love how durable these placemats are. And when something is spilled, they dont STICK to the table like your rubber ones do. And they are washable! Although no washing instructions came with them, but I washed them on the delicate cycle in cold water. I dried them on low heat for about 5-10 minutes. The best ever product, that's I've received for my kids that's for sure!

Thursday Thirteen 11/20

Thirteen Things That Have Happened To Me This Week!
1. Monday morning started my whole week off totally wrong! My dh left his license plate at home for his big truck and I had to take it to him. There was no pop in the house and I need one when I get up, so I stopped at the store to get one. No credit card! I go back home to get it, and remembered it was in the bag with dh's prescription, which he had thrown away!
2. I barely had enough gas to take him his stupid license plate, so he gave me his card. Not having enough gas is a scarey thing when you don't have money to get any on the way.
3. I dug through the garbage which btw had already been taken to the big can for trash day, and dug through chili to get to my precious credit card (it's a bank card, but still).
4. After all that on Monday, I had also forgotten sides to go with my Sloppy Joe dinner, so we had a bowl of cereal for dinner. UGH i hate stressful days.
5. Tuesday, I go to Walmart to get a few things. No credit card! UGH when i dug it out of the trash, I left it on the table. His card was in my jeans pocket, but I was wearing different jeans, LOL! Had to go back home again and get it. I figured I'd just go through the garage so I could leave the truck running for the baby. No. The inside door to the house was locked. I had to turn the truck off and go through the front door! (the inside garage door doesnt have a keyhole)
6. I got a migraine and I couldn't figured out why 4 motrin didn't take it away. So, I said fuck it and went to bed.
7. TMI, but it was a menstrual headache! What a nice surprise in the middle of the night!
8. Wake up Wednesday morning, still have a headache. I go to Walmart and me some PMS pills, no more headache!
9. I also woke up with a damn cold sore on my lip. Its huge, irritating, and it hurts! Good thing I already have a nice stock of Carmex!
10. Last night I started sneezing. And sneezing. And sneezing. Get the picture? It was horrible. I thought i was for sure gonna sneeze my brains out! Is that possible? Man, I could barely catch my breath.
11. Then my nose starts running off my face. Im already in bed, so I had to get up and go into the living room and get tissues from the only box of kleenex in the house. (Note to self: buy more boxes of tissue)
12. Its just been a bad week all together. Im still sneezing today!

Let me explain this. I was driving west on the highway. This truck was flipped on its side facing east against a rock wall! how it got there, idk. it tied traffic up for hours, tho! and then the second pic, i was on my way back home, going east, and that's as far as they had gotten to getting the truck out. Not very far, it was an hour later!

I was very excited when my great friend Mimi obliged to sponsor a giveaway for me! She does an amazing job. I bought some from her last year for a Christmas present, and I was very satisfied with the quality and the scent! It matched perfectly! Now on to the contest.

Well, it's Friday again. Not my favorite day of the week this week. Been a very stressful day today, i just can't seem to catch a break! but anyway, Thanksgiving is fast approaching. Only 2 weeks left! So today's question is:

Have you figured out your plans for Thanksgiving? Are you staying home and cooking or are you going elsewhere?

We are going to Michigan this year to see my family. They always come down for the holidays, so it's our turn to go up there. It'll be nice!

Wondering Where I've Been?

Well let just tell you. Last Thursday as you may know from my Aloha Friday post, my lovely 19 month old daughter decided to stick a little wooden dowel up her nose which required us to go to the ER and have it removed. We started decorating for Christmas this passed weekend, and hung up some lights outside. It's just the beginning, we will be the next Griswald family, lmao! Then this week, I've been overwhelmed with the kids. Jessi has had an attitude problem, and I needed to put her in check. Heather once again, stuck something up her nose on Wednesday! This time a popcorn kernal. Another trip to the dr, but at least this time we were able to go to her pedi instead of a 4.5 hour wait at the ER. Now with this crazy weather, I'm feeling a little under the weather. My throat has been sore all day. I really hope I'm not coming down with something. That would just ruin my weekend. LOL. If you don't see me around for a little while, I'm also busy with sponsors for my big Christmas party coming up in December.
Tomorrow my first giveaway is going up! Be ready for it.

Macy's BELIEVES! Tis the season to give, and what better way to do just that through

Macy's Believe Campaign. Everyone will be busy shopping, and I'm sure there is a trip to a mall scheduled in there somewhere. If not then, this will be the perfect reason to make one. Your child can write AND send a letter to Santa himself! There are boxes set outside each Macy's store, and for EVERY letter sent, Macy's will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish foundation!

So, before you go out on your shopping sprees this holiday season take a little extra time and have your child write a letter. It'll help other children this year!

Marry your spouse? The first time, if you've been married more than once. I found this article on yahoo's front page. It states that many couples are waiting for marriage until the *right time*. But when exactly is the right time? Since marriages have been on record in the 1890's, the average is now at it's highest. I was 19 when I married my first husband. I was very young, too young, i think. It wasn't for the right reasosns either. I was 24 when I married this time. Hopefully it's my last time too. LOL.

I Remember When #6 11/9

Well, it's sunday, the weekend is coming to a close. So why not take a trip down memory lane, and play I Remember When?
This week’s topic is:
“I remember when… I had my first boyfriend”. Did you hold hands? Go on ‘dates’? Or just hang around together with the crowd? Whatever your memories are related to your first boyfriend, share them!
Well, since last week's I Remember When went into my first crush being my first boyfriend, I'll continue and tell you about my first husband. *WARNING* explicit content!
So John and I finally called it quits in January of 2000. He was hanging out with some friends that I didn't like and treated me like shit. Instead of John coming to my defense he would just laugh at it. How wrong is that? Someone that is supposed to love and care about me is laughing at what his friends are saying?! Not. Cool.
I had met Juan, my first husband, while dating John. Never talked to this guy at all. Maybe just a hi when he would come to the house. (it was my cousin's house). After John and I had split, I noticed Juan checking me out. He was really quiet and shy. So innocent-looking (or so I thought...but more on that later). I asked him to take me to my friend's house. He obliged. As I was getting ready to get in the car, he reached over to the passenger seat to clean it off, but I was still getting in and didn't see him. Then it happened. He grabbed my ass! LOL. Such a typical male thing, huh? So we get to my friend's house, and we all decide to go see a movie. He bought everything! I thought it was really sweet. Then he took me back to my cousin's house. I went to bed. The next morning, he kissed me. We started dating then. I was living at my dad's which was about an hour from my cousin's, but he would pick me up on the weekends, and come to see me at my dad's thru the week sometimes. I was young and very naive. Valentine's Day he asked me to move to Las Vegas with him. Um, what?! I'm 17 years old! I can't do that! But I did do just that! I ran away from home to be with a guy that I had only been with less than a month. When we got out there, we all got jobs (his sister and her boyfriend came as well). I got injured at work, and needed medical attention. It wasn't anything serious. I had slipped on the floor and hurt my back. Before they could do x-rays, a pg test was needed. Ok, cool, that's policy. No need to worry, right? WRONG! I was 6 weeks pg with our daughter, and didn't even know! So I tell him. Was he excited like me? NO. He wanted me to have an abortion! I just couldn't bring myself to that to my *baby* a human life. So I ran away from him, and was gonna back home to Michigan. I was going to have that baby with or without him. Well, he agreed to keep it, and I went back. Then the drug use began. Not just your typical smoking weed. How about meth! It was recreational either, it was everyday! Then he started not coming home. I knew it was the drugs. That was out of my control. Jessi was born that December. He calmed down a lot in the beginning and was home all the time. Helping me with our daughter. But he fell right back into his cycle. I guess it was just something that I was gonna have to live with so our family could stay together. Like I said, I was young and naive. We married in October of 2001. Things were good, except for the drugs. I don't think he ever cheated on me bc he was too shy around girls. In January of 2002, he hit me. One and only time. I called my dad, he called the Las Vegas Police Department, who then showed up at my door. Juan came home on lunch from work and was arrested and taken to jail. I gathered up as much as I could and was police escorted to my mil's to get my daughter. I just thank God that she wasn't at home to witness me getting hit like that. I get my daughter and we go to women's shelter for one night. the next night i was on a plane home to Detroit. I didn't talk to Juan for almost 3 months. He didn't even know where I was at! Then I gave in and talked to him, just to tell him that me and Jessi were alright. The next thing I know, he's gettin on a bus to come be with us. OMG! So we get back together. Jasmine was born the next January, while he was where? Yep, you guessed it. In jail. But not for abuse. It was for warrants. So things are good. We're happy. Or so I thought. He was lazy. Didn't want to do anything! Including work! All he wanted to do was play video games and snort coke. I was the one working AND goin to school since I dropped out of high school to be with his stupid ass. I finally got sick of it and kicked him out in March of 2006. I got with Brian and moved with him to Kentucky in June. Juan was always welcomed here to see the kids whenever he wanted. He decided to go back to Las Vegas. Like he really needed that, right? So Brian and I both told him to stop here on his way so he can see the girls. Did he come? Nope. Did he call? eh, barely. Then in August, I get a phone call. His mom. Crying. There's been an accident. I have to call the hospital. All I get is, he's in surgery. Well, he died on August 7, 2006 of a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the stomach. Drugs in his system. Ruled a suicide! OMG how do I tell my kids this? They are only 5 and 3. School starts in 2 days! So I waited until the weekend. Brian and I both sat down with the girls that Saturday morning and told them that their daddy had an accident and he went to Heaven to be with God. It was a huge cryfest.

Scrabook Saturday 11/8

since my computer has been messin up i was havin a hard time getting scrapblog to work. come to find out it was IE, so I had to download Firefox. and what do you know, it works! So here's 2 pages to make up for last week as well.

Now that the soccer season is over, my kids are bored, bored, bored. But sign-ups begin in January, so they'll have something to do again in the spring. They both really enjoyed playing, and I am very proud of them both for picking up the sport so quickly! Even Jasmine got 2 goals this season, and that's really good for it being her first season.

YAY! It's Friday again, my favorite day of the week, as it kicks off the weekend and family time begins with the whole family! Let's get right to it, you know the drill.

My question for today is:

Has your child ever stuck something up their nose? Could you get it out yourself or was a trip to the ER involved?

Last night, my sweet baby girl decided to put a little wooden dowel up her nose! I could see it, so I attempted to get it out myself with a pair of tweezers. Not happening. The tweezers kept slipping off it. So off to the ER we went, all 3 kids in tow.....2.5 hours later we finally see a dr! It took all of 5 minutes to get the thing out of her nose. All is good now, and the rest of the wooden dowels from her hamper have since been thrown out!

So My Husband Got Hit On...

Last night while at a truck stop getting fuel, he runs into another driver from the same company. While inside signing his fuel receipt, the guy asks Brian if he wanted to get a burger. Brian rejected. He said he didn't have enough time to stop and sit to eat. The guy suggested maybe another time. PFFT! As Brian was walking out the door, the guy asked him his name. Brian simply said 'Brian'. The guy said 'I'm Edward'. Brian said he was just a little bit TOO friendly.
I started laughing hysterically! I mean I know my husband is charming and attractive, but I never once thought that another GUY would think the same thing!
Brian is probably going to be avoiding 'Edward' at all costs now. Even when they are at the shop at the same time or even safety meetings.
How about that for a story, huh???? LMAO

Thirteen Books I've Read This Year
1. The Choice~Nicholas Sparks....Travis Parker thinks he's the perfect bachelor, until he meets his neighbor Gabby Holland. She seems to be holding a grudge against him, despite all his attempts to be the friendly person he is. Her long-time boyfriend plays a role in this as well. He tries so hard to lead them both to the doorstep of a journey that neither one could have predicted. It comes with the most heart-breaking question of all: How far should one go to keep the hopes of love alive?
2. P.S. I Love You~ Cecelia Ahern....also a motion picture. Holly and Gerry are high school sweethearts, the perfect young couple. Then the unimaginable hits...Gerry is diagnosed with a terminal illness, and Holly believes she can't go on without him, but he has plans for her. When she gets out of her slump she retreives a mysterious package...."The List". Gerry stayed true to his word, and at the end of each note it says P.S. I love you. My take on this book...very sad and happy at the same time. I cried...tears of sadness and joy. I'm a big sap I know. LOL
3. Sundays At Tiffany's~ James Patterson.....Jane Margaux is a lonely little girl with an imaginary friend, Michael. There are rules with imaginary friends, so he can't stay forever. He leaves her on her 9th birthday. Years later, Jane in her 30's is still just as lonely, then she meets a man who is just perfect!
4. The Memory Keepers Daughter~ Kim Edwards....also a motion picture. In 1964, Dr. Henry is forced to deliver his twins in a terrible snow storm. The boy is perfectly healthy, but the girl, well she's not so perfect. She has Down Syndrome. At that day in age, all babies like that weren't expected to live long, and were sent to a home with other children. This was Dr. Henry's nurse, Caroline's job, to take the baby girl to the home. She can't bring herself to do it. She disappears with the baby and raises her as her own. A story where 2 worlds come together after 25 years being left as a deep dark secret.
5. The Notebook~Nicholas Sparks....also a motion picture. Noah Calhoun is back from WWII and being haunted by images of his long lost love from 10 years ago. Allie Nelson is about to marry a wealthy lawyer, but she can't stop thinking about who stole her heart so many years ago. This is the beginning of a love story so powerful and deep it can turn tragedy into triumph.
6. The Wedding~Nicholas Sparks...the sequel to The Notebook. Many years into the future, Noah and Allie's daughter Jane is about to get the surprise of her life. Her husband thinks he's been a failure so he gets lots of friends and family involved to pull it off. Truly a great story.
7. The Gift~ Nora Roberts.....a collaboration of 3 separate stories. Home For Christmas~ Jason Law has returned home to win back the girl he left behind. This time nothing was going to stand in his way. All I Want For Christmas~ Identical twins Zeke and Zach wanted only one gift from Santa, a mother. But convincing their father wasn't going to be easy. Until the new music teacher, Miss Davis arrives in town. Gabriel's Angel~ All Gabriel wanted was solitude. But Laura ends up at his remote cabin after an accident during a blizzard desperate, alone, and on the run. This modern-day Scrooge just couldn't turn her away, for she was what he was looking for for a long time, and she also brings the gift of passion, life and hope. He just has to get the courage to reach for it.
8. River's End~Nora Roberts....Olivia's parents are Hollywood stars until a 'monster' came and took her mother away forever. the 'monster' being her father....after being sheltered from the truth, an older Olivia doesnt recall much from that frightful night. Until she realizes her recurring nightmares can be pieced together to get the real story.Accompanied by Noah brady, the cop's son who found her cowering in a closet so many years ago, she gets her chance. Noah wants to reconstruct the night that made Hollywood history, and he also wants to help Olivia and help her mend her lonely heart. Once the door to her past opens, there's no telling what will happen...for somewhere, the 'monster' walks again....
9.Twilight~Stephenie Meyer....also a motion picutre due in theatres 11/21. Isabella Sawn uproots from the warm sunny skies of Pheonix to live with her dad in gloomy Forks, Washington where she meets the mysterious Edward Cullen. With all of his great characteristics, he irresistable and impenetrable. He has been able to keep his true identity a secret, until Bella comes along, and she is determined to find out. What she doesn't realize is the closer she gets, the more danger for all involved. but it's too late to turn back.
10. New Moon~Stephenie Meyer.....For Bella the only thing that matters to her is Edward Cullen. Being in love with a vampire is far more dangerous that ever imagined. Edward has already saved her from one evil vampire, but they soon realize their troubles are just beginning....
11. Eclipse~Stephenie Meyer....still currently reading....But so far as Seattle is being ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a violent female vampire seeks revenge, Bella again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the middle of it all, she is forced to choose between the love of her life Edward and her best friend, Jacob, knowing it erupt the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. And with her graduation from high school quickly upon her, she has one more big decision to make: life or death.
12. Breaking Dawn~Stephenie Meyer.....I haven't read this yet, so no description here. But I know it'll probably just as good as the other 3.
13. Any other good books that come my way, i'll read. I have a bookcase full of great books that I haven't gotten to yet for the obsession with Edward has taken over. I will be sad for it to end when I finish the last book.
