Life gets in the way sometimes

I know its been since last Thursday since I've posted but hey let's
face it, life gets in the way lol. Especially when I'm basically a
single mother and 2 of my 3 kids are in soccer. Plus the weather is
finally breaking so we've been outside playing enjoying the warm
temps. I took Heather to the park today and she had a blast climbing
and sliding down the slides. She didn't care for the swings tho lol.
Then when the older girls got home from school we went out in the
front yard and played with chalk and baseball and catch. Until a stray
dog came upon us and we went in. It looked friendly but I didn't trust
it. Better safe than bitten. Jasmine had her kindergarten graduation
pics taken on Monday. I'm so sad, she has grown up so much in the past
3 years. She'll be the last one to graduate kindergarten at that
school (its closing for being too old for renovation) and Heather
won't start school for another couple years. Heather is keeping me on
my toes tho. Into everything. She runs from the time she wakes up
until the time she goes to bed except for the hour or so of nap time.
Tonight she got a hold of a permanent marker and colored on everything
in her path; TV, TV stand, wall, bookcase, couch, pillow, and the
floor. I got most of it off except the pillow and wall. Kids I tell ya
lol.

Soccer

The spring soccer season has begun. So far so good. Except for the
really chilly temps as the sun starts to go down. Hopefully it warms
up soon!

An update on me!

As if things just couldnt get any worse...today i was diagnosed with hypertension...i had seen it coming tho. my blood pressure has been up for a few weeks, and over the weekend it was as high as 138/98 (normal is 120/80). So i made the dreaded doctor appointment today thinking and hoping that it was something else. Oh no...I have a family history of high blood pressure, so now me, at just 26 is now on high blood pressure medication! The doctor was like freaking out because I am so young...but look at all that Ive been going through...who wouldnt have high blood pressure? So tomorrow will be day 1 of my meds. Not sure how I will react to them so bare with me if Im not on for a few days.

What is your typical weekend like?

For us right now its just chillin and laying around. I am stuck at home with kids all week so Saturday’s I usually get out by myself for a bit. Like today I went and got my nails did and brought home lunch for everyone. Sunday’s we dont do anything. I try to make sure that all my cleaning is done by Friday so I dont have to clean on the weekends, except your normal dishes and possibly a load of laundry.

Here in a couple weeks Saturday’s are gonna spent at the soccer fields. Both my older girls are playing again for the spring season, and practices are already underway! The first game is on the 28th. They are really excited that its time for soccer again, especially since theyve been couped up all winter!

Two months in a row we've had a Friday the thirteenth...craziness! So in leui of that today's questions are:
1. Are you supersticious? and
2. If so, what about?
I am not very supersticious but I will play the silly games with my kids, i.e. dont step on a crack or you'll break your mama's back. LOL

Spring where are you?

You are supposed to be right around the corner, but yet i think you are hiding and playing games. just 2 days ago it was 78*, beautiful day! Today, not so much…its just 32* and now soccer practice has been canceled. My Easter lilies are starting to come up, and I would love to see their beautiful blooms. i wish you would make up your mind and bless us with your warm temps and sunny skies! I want to put away the big winter coats and bring out the light jackets. I want the kids to be able to get outside and play and not come in 10 minutes later bc its so flippin cold. Next weeks forecast looks decent except for all the rain chances. But if that's what your going to give us I’ll take it any day over SNOW which is in the forecast for tonight! I don't like the rollercoaster you've got us on; everyone keeps getting sick. So please make up your mind so we can all get out of this winter drab :D and I hope to see you soon…

Happy Friday everyone! I am back and ready to roll! Spring is in in the air and Im loving it...the warm temps, the light breeze, the start of blooms all around, and spring storms, and soccer...i love it all!
