Week 3 of Review

Actually I have a lot to talk about this week.

First, I babysat on Wednesday and Friday for my neighbor's. Brady is the cutest baby I've ever seen. He's 4 months old today, and just a big cuddlebug. I took him and Heather grocery shopping with me on Wednesday, and OMG you shoulda seen the looks I was getting. Like I have 2 kids that are 14 months apart! HA! I'd kill myself first. LOL

Thursday was parent/teacher conferences for Jasmine. She is doing amazingly well! She's gone up a reading level, and she can count to and write to 20. In Kindergarten they are only required to go to 15. So she's advanced a little in that. She also knows her colors and shapes. Drawing a triangle seems to be an obstacle, so I think that's something we will have to work on. She's also in speech, like she has been for 3 years now, this being her third. Jasmine just impresses me more and more each day with her speech. Still have some work to accomplish, but she's come a long way. When she was 3.5 she wouldn't even talk! Now you can't shut her up, lol!

Friday was Heather's 18 month well baby check up. See post below. Again I had Brady with me, but this time they knew better than to think that he was mine. LOL. We've been going to this pedi since Heather's birth so I think they would know if i was pregnant again.

Saturday, omg! Please pray I don't have another day like this. I about died! I wake up at 7:30 am with the kids and get Jasmine ready for her last soccer game at 9 am. She scored another goal! She was so happy. We come home, and Brian goes to get the snake a mouse. They were too small so he gets a rat. Fuzzy won't eat it. So i have to drive back and get the biggest mouse I see. Get it and come home. Get Jessi ready for her last soccer game. They win 4-2. Coach is having a pizza party at Pizza Hut for the team. He takes Jessi with him bc I had to take Jasmine to a birthday party that was starting as the game ended, and I still had to go get the girl a gift! Get that done. And head back to pizza hut to pick up Jessi. Come home for literally 10 minutes and had to go back and get Jasmine. Finally get home at about 5:15. Brian and I take a shower, it's date night! We get ready and head out to the store for some snacks for the kids. Jess babysat for us while we went out. Brian and I had the most amazing dinner! We decided to try a new place since we were sick of Chili's lol. I had an after-dinner drink, and it's my new favorite drink! It's called Cotton Candy Cosmo. Vodka, XR Fusion Liqueur, Cranberry Juice and pink cotton candy. and it tastes just like cotton candy, but with a kick! We get home around 9 or so and play some Wii and hang out. Jess and her family go home and we go to bed. I was extremely exhausted! I ran for 16 hours.

Sunday is a relaxing day. We carved pumpkins, see Tackle it Tuesday post below. Brian leaves for work around 9. The norm.

Monday Heather wakes me up puking everywhere! and she has the runs. so she spent the day on pedialyte and crackers. Brian was able to come home and spend his break here for the night which was nice.

Yesterday, Heather is still sick, but yet there's no fever. so weird. i made spaghetti for dinner. and 2 hours later Jessi was in the bathroom getting sick, so i guess this stomach bug is making its rounds, ugh!

SO Jessi is home from school today sick. Heahter is still sick and starting to refuse to eat or drink so she has a pedi appt at 2:30. And Brian calls me this morning, he's sick! So he'll probably have a short week. His boss is MAKING him still deliver this load, bc he claims there's no one to relieve him! BS!

I'm hoping I dont get sick, bc if i do, then there's no one to take care of the kids. Jasmine will probably be sick tomorrow.

Please pray for my sanity!

New Kids On The Block!

Saturday my mom and sister went to see New Kids on The Block in Detroit. I had the opportunity to go, but had prior engagements that I could not break. Here are a few pics from my mom's phone. I know they aren't the best quality, but they were only 15 rows back! I can't wait to see pics she took from her camera. Enjoy.

By the way, this wasn't main stage, they had a another little center stage that came out into the crowd! Oh, how I'm kicking myself for not going.

Tackle It Tuesday 10/28

Here is my first Tackle in a few weeks. Sorry I've been out of the loop, but I was waiting for a good one to post with some pics! So without further ado, I bring you my Pumpkin Carving Tackle from this passed Sunday!

First let me start off and tell you all that we didn't have any pumpkins sitting here waiting for us to carve them. Brian was leaving for work at 9 PM and it was already 2, and he was supposed to take a nap before having to drive all night. So I rush out to the store and grab the first 3 good pumpkins I see. Come home and get started right away.

First up was Brian cutting the tops and cleaning out the pumpkins. The girls wanted to get in there and get their hands in it, but it was faster and easier to take a spoon and scrape the sides and just dump the stuff into a bag. LOL. Maybe next year we won't forget and have to it all last minute! Brian then carved his pumpkin.

Then it was Jasmine's turn. She wanted a smiley face, lol. She's such a girl! I helped her draw the face on and she watched me carve it. Jasmine is only 5 and not well coordinated with a carving tool yet. But she did watch me and threw the pieces in the trash.

Finally, it was Jessi's turn. Daddy helped her with it. She wanted a scary face. I don't know what it is, my kids seem to the opposite of each other, LOL. Here she is as a pumpkin head.

Then standing next to it, like everyone else did.

And here are all 3 pumpkins next to each other. Here they are all lit with a candle, but my camera has autoflash, so it ruins the effect. But Halloween is only a few more days so we will get the full effect then. Hehehehe.

P.S. Please don't mind my dirty kitchen, it's been neglected the passed few days.

100th Post!!

Here it is! My 100th post! It seems like yesterday I was posting my very first blog post! But here I am 100 posts later and really into the swing of things.

Would You Rather Monday

Tena over at Punky Monkey's is on a roll! First she created her own bloggy award (see post below) and now she's created a new theme for Monday's! It's pretty simple. Just answer my questions of what you would rather do. Dont forget to go over to Tena's page and check hers out too!

1. Would you rather: live in Hurricane Alley or Tornado Alley?

2. Would you rather: ski off of Mt. Everest or cliff dive into the Pacific Ocean?

3. Would you rather: eat bugs to survive or search for real food until death?

I can't wait to see your answers!

I Remember When... #4

Hey everyone! It's time to start the new week. And again I will start mine with this meme created by Deb at Mom of 3 Girls. Be sure to head over there for other I Remember When entries and sign Mr. Linky.

This week’s topic is:
“I remember when… I had fun on Halloween”! Did you dress up? trick-or-treat? go to parties? Whatever your childhood memories are related to Halloween, share them!

My memories of Halloween are all good! From the time I could remember, I had awesome costumes. My favorite was when I was a little girl, about 7 or 8 years old. That year I went as a Punk Rocker! Hey, Im a child of the 90's so it only fit! I had everything; the hot pink wig, sparkling make-up on my face, the cool shirt with a jean jacket, and even the spandex pants! then a pair of black boots. My mom has all those pics some where, lol! Good thing I don't have, I would be tempted to actually post one. HAHAHA

Then in 6th grade, we were having a Halloween costume contest at school. That year I went as a dancer. I borrowed one of my aunt's recital outfits, with a hat and white gloves. It was super cute! The judges came around and for some reason they thought I was a mime. LOL. I didn't even have my face painted so I have no clue as to why they thought that. But anyway, it was all good, because I won! The prize wasn't much, just a coupon for a free ice cream from Dairy Queen. But it was still awesome!

Then when I was 14 I had dressed up as a baby. LOL. I even had a paci and a bottle with juice in it. And my hair was in pigtails. I can't remember what my sister was that year, but it was something evil. Her and her friend were going out trick or treating together, and I was staying home to pass out candy. My mom was taking pics, and my sister thought it would be a good idea to have a pic of all 3 of us and my sister holding a butcher knife to me like she was gonna kill me! I really played up the pic too. I had my head down lookin all sad too!

After that I never dressed up anymore. I thought I was too old, lmao. Now it's time for my kids to enjoy it all! Here is a pic from Halloween 2005. Jessi was Snow White and Jasmine was a ghost. by the way, that is their dad in the pic, who passed away in August 2006. He never looked at the camera much.

R.I.P.

Three years ago today, my best friend Jason, was murdered along with his police roommate. It was all in a jealous rage. This kid who wasnt even the police officer's son, was jealous bc my friend was living there, and he wasn't. There had been an argument while Jay wasn't home. He came home and walked in on the argument, but some of the damage had already been done. The officer had been shot with his own gun and stabbed in the basement. Jay and the killer argued in the kitchen for a minute all the while the officer was climbing the stairs to get outside. Jay was shot 3 times, the last one eventually killing him. He had a pet pit bull that wouldnt allow anyone near him. After that the kid went outside and shot the officer again, killing him too. He then ran away, but was caught 5 hours later and charged with multiple charges. He is spending the rest of his natural life in prison without the possibility of parole! I hope he rots for what he did! He took away my best friend, and my kids's uncle. Well they considered him their uncle. Jay was only 22, he had so much life left. Today is going to be a very emotional day for me. I was going to do a scrapbook saturday for a tribute, but i couldn't. my computer is a piece of $hit!

It's Friday again! I am so glad this day has finally come! It's been one hell of a week for Brian and I will be just as happy for him to get home as he will be.

What is/are your kids (s) being for Halloween this year?

Jessi and Jasmine are being Hannah Montana (different outfits of course) and Heather is being Tinkerbell, with the wings and everything! I cant wait to see her in it!

Her words:

It's That Time Again.

Time for another round of nothingness. Is that even a word? LOL. Anyway, since last week's post things were really bad for me. Brian was gone all week, I was PMSing something fierce, and the kids were on Fall Break! AHHHHHH!!!!!! I think that sums it up, lmao!

Thursday was exceptionally bad. I was on an emotional rollercoaster, yanno where you are laughing and happy one minute and crying the next? That was me. Then Brian had gotten an attitude with me for being bitchy. So that threw me thru a loop! I soaked in the tub for a bit, then took a shower to wash my hair, and i was in bed asleep before 11.

Saturday was soccer. It was a very cold morning too. Fall is officially here! The games were to start at 10am and 10:15am. Jasmine's game started first, and I called my SIL to see if my niece was gonna be at the game and she said her coach cancelled the game for not having enough players. UGH! So i went to talk to Jessi's coach. He had no idea. Well after a lot of confusion, my niece's coach called the wrong team! so all 4 girls U8 teams didn't play Saturday! So back to Jasmine's game. She was playing very aggressively. The best she's ever played! I was very proud of her. She almost scored a goal, but it missed the net by INCHES!!! Then 5 minutes later, at the end of the game she got the ball and ran it down the field and into the NET! She scored her FIRST goal!! And dammit if i didn't have my camera with me! Or my phone camera ready! Everyone was so excited for her, including coach who gave her a huge bear hug!

After all that excitement, Jessi had a birthday party from 2-6. Jasmine was really bored. So we decided to take the kids out to the Food Court, and let her play in the play place. Brian even got up in there, LMAO!! And almost got stuck! Came home and dropped Brian and Heather off so i could go get Jessi. He took a nap, and woke up freezing. So we finally turned the heat on! We woke up Sunday morning and it was only 34* outside! BRRRR

Monday was the first day back to school from Fall Break, and I was more excited for them to go back than they were. Is that bad? LOL. I have fallen back into my routine, with keeping the house clean and got Heather back on her schedule. It was also Jasmine's last day of soccer practice. :( She got hurt too. A ball ended up hitting her right in the ribs! But after she shook it off and sat for a few minutes she was right back out on the field. She's a trooper!

And tonight Brian gets to come home for the night! The first time since he's been back on the road. I am excited! I miss my dh when he ain't here at night. I feel much safer with him here too. I hardly sleep when he's gone. I'm always afraid something is going to happen, and every little noise wakes me up. Pathetic i tell ya! LOL

So that brings this week's edition to a close. Come back next week for another edition. And dont forget to check out my CONTEST and i'll be back tomorrow for WW!

I Remember When #3 10/19

Here we are at week 3. Wow. I love this meme. It makes you think back to your childhood and remember a lot of things. So here we go...

This week’s topic is:
“I remember when… I played/didn’t play sports as a kid. Did you play soccer? softball? run track? Or if you didn’t play sports, do you wish that you had? Whatever your memories are related to kids sports, share them.

I didn't ever play sports. My parents never really have the money to put us in them even if we wanted to. Sad I know. But I was musical. I loved to sing, still do in fact. I was in glee club in elementary school. Then in middle school i joined choir. And i was part of it until I dropped out of high school in 11th grade. That year I also took Music History. I had never heard of such a subject, so i thought i'd give it a try. It was really interesting. I learned all about Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and even way before them!

My kids however have the opportunity to play sports if they want. This year was their first year playing a sport thru the parks and rec. Soccer was their choice. And their last game is this weekend. And as a matter of fact, Jasmine scored her very first goal this past weekend! We were all very happy for her, her coach included, who actually picked her up and gave her a huge hug! After soccer is over, they want to try cheerleading which sign ups are starting next month. so we shall see how that goes, and then probably back to soccer in the spring.

And again if you want to participate, please visit Deb here! and dont forget to grab her button!

Aloha Friday #3 10/17

It's Friday again. Man I thought this day was never gonna come! It's been one really hard week this week. And boy, am I glad it's Friday...the weekend is here!!

So here's my question this week:

What is one thing you dislike about your spouse? (i know there has to be at least ONE thing, LOL)

What I dont like is, he likes to play the age card! We are 19 years apart, and when he plays that card he tries to act as my father! UGH, i have a father thank you very much. Please be mu husband, and that is all!
Oh! Don't forget to head over to An Island Life and sign Mr. Linky when you post your own Aloha Friday Question.

Family Fun Night

Last night the girls and I got the Betty Crocker cookbook out and we made homemade chocolate chip cookies! They helped too, and they REALLY enjoyed it! Plus, Im PMSing and craving chocolate! So what better thing to have, right? LMAO
First we got all of our ingredients out. Then we mixed the egg, sugars, and butter together. And then mixed in the flour. And began to stir it into one big tough clump. Then mommy added food coloring to make them orange, like pumpkins! and the final step was mixing in the chocolate chips! mmmmm
And here is your finished product! The cookbook recipe says it makes 48 cookies, but i can only get like 2.5 dozen or less. Something's wrong there, LOL. Of course we had to taste them, and they were so so good! The girls then watched Alladin on the Disney Channel while I read New Moon. It was a nice night. I should really do something like this more often with them.

Here's the meaning of this award:

Wordless Wednesday 10/15

I figure I post too many of the baby and not enough of these 2. So here are Jessi and Jasmine on their first day of school. Jessi, 2nd grade and Jasmine, Kindergarten.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Well....

Well I was gonna do a Tackle it Tuesday today, but I dont have anything major goin on, or no pics. lol. my garage is still a mess. my room is clean, tho, but im still working on the desk and dresser. and the girls and i have been slowly goin thru their clothes, doin the switch...gettin the summer ones out, and puttin the winter ones in. I also managed to get the girls' Halloween costumes started. The baby is goin to be Tinkerbell, her costume is hangin up in her closet. The girls want to be Hannah Montana, but I wasn't goin to pay that kind of money for the cheap made costumes. So I bought them Hannah Montana outfits! And since Hannah Montana always wears layers, I made sure the outfits had layers too! I'm also going to something with their hair, put on some make up and a couple of other things...they are goin to look soooo stinkin cute! I guess that's it. See you all tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday!

A blog about nothing #2

Hahahaha, I think i might make it a weekly post, just to sum things up all at once.

So this week the kids are on Fall Break, and that means I have all 3 kids home with me while DH is out on the road again! UGH...gonna be a long week I can tell ya that. LOL.

Last week we were really stressin on how we were gonna come up with the money to pay for our house insurance. (we recently refinanced our mortgage from an ARM to a FHA fixed rate loan, and they sent us a check to pay for the insurance, but it was paid till October so we then received a refund check from the insurance company, and spent it, lol). So I've been keepin an eye on our Escrow balance making sure there's enough in there to cover the property taxes. And I noticed a drop from last month to this month. I couldnt figure it out at first, then i read a little further down...our house insurance is PAID in FULL! yes, what a big relief taken off our shoulders! btw, when we closed on the mortgage they then sold it to someone else, so im thinking thats why the mortgage company paid it, they didnt know. lol.

And yes, dh is out on the road again. Starting off another good week too! But he needs 2 new tires on the front of the truck or he'll have a blow out, NOT good! So that'll set him back a bit and he probably wont get as many miles as he did last week, which was almost 2900!

No sicknesses to report, which is a good thing. It seems like when one gets sick, it just follows suit and we are in and out of the dr for the entire week gettin someone else some meds. 2 weeks ago it was Jasmine with an ear infection, and today is her last day for meds. Im hoping no one really gets sick, especially this week. That would just make this week even more stressful, LOL.

Well, I guess that's it for now. Be back next week for another round of nothing. LOL.
I hope everyone has a great week!

I Remember When #2 10/12

It's that time again. Just head on over to Deb at Mom of 3 Girls to learn how to play and sign Mr. Linky.
This week’s topic is:
“I remember when… my family celebrated autumn“. Did you visit a pumpkin patch, farm market or apple orchard (with school or your family)? Did you go every year or only once in a while? Or never? What are your memories of the things your family used to do together at this time of year (even if just acknowledging it in small ways)? Whatever your memories are related to autumn, share them!
Every year with my dad, we would go to the Cider Mill. It wouldn't always be the best weather, but it was still fun to go. Walk the trail and see all the beatutiful fall colors. Buy donuts and apple cider. And it's always busy with other families enjoying the day as well.
And although we haven't gone in a couple of years, I am hoping to take the kids next weekend. This place here seems a lot more worth it to go. More things to do for the kids, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a maze, a playground, and food, food, food. LOL.
It'll be cool to carry on a family tradition that my dad started many many years ago!

Aloha Friday #3 10/10

It's Friday again! Wow this week went by fast, even with my dh being gone all week! So here's today's question, and remember it doesnt have to be a long drawn out answer. Then if you want to join the fun just post your own.

thursday Thirteen 10/9

Thirteen Things I Hate About Other Drivers!

1. When they dont use a turn signal! We are taught to use them in Driver's Ed, so why stop using them? You're just asking to get rearended!
2. When a driver tailgates me, even when I'm doing the speed limit or even 5 over! Slow the hell down, you're just in a hurry to go no where!
3. When an old person is on the highway doing 10-20 mph BELOW the speed limit....omg! get off the road!!
4. When I'm tryin to get on the freeway, and no one will let me merge even when they can get over a lane, so that in turn makes me pissed and i have to either slow way the hell down or stomp the gas pedal and get in front of this person. I usually slwo down so when I get up to speed i pass them and flip em off or give em a dirty look.
5. When a trucker thinks he owns the road ( i know what your thinking bc my dh is trucker, but he's different, he knows better). There are more cars than trucks and you better slow the hell down!
6. When a driver has no break lights! UGH this kills me, please people check your shit before you get in the car!
7. When they slam on the breaks bc they missed their turn...pay attention!!! Im not tryin to rearend you and then have it my fault!
8. When its dark out and they are driving with their high beams on and refuse to turn them off when on coming traffic approaches...it's against the law! and your blinding me (i already have night blindness!)
9. When they think Im driving too slow and pass me and then get in front of me and slow down! OMG are you immature!!!! Maybe you shouldnt have your license just yet.
10. When a mother doesnt have her children in a seat or seat belt...omg are you stupid!? thats called child endangerment and you can have your kids taken away! I havent called the cops yet, cuz I wasnt able to get a license plate number, but next time im gonna.
11. When people speed thru a residential zone with posted signs saying speed limit 25....there's no need to do 40mph thru here! we will call the cops...plus there's dozens of kids always playing outside...it only takes a second!
12. Why must you have a system in your car up so loud that the bass rattles the glass!? that's just GHETTO and really really annoying! turn that shit down.
13. I just really hate everyone else's driving except for mine...I wont even let dh drive! hehehehe.
HAPPY TT!

I've been tagged!

Leeann from the world through the eyes of me tagged me so i'd thought i'd share some stuff that most of you may not know about me. Enjoy!
What were you doing 10 years ago?
Ten years ago I was 16 years old. I was in my sophmore year of high school and barely making it. I had moved to my dad's and it wasn't the best environment. Parties all the time. My mom was in England, and I resented her for that, so that played a big roll too. But I had lots of friends to keep my mind off of that. :)
5 Things on my to do list today:
Well since the day is over I'll tell you 5 things i already did today.
1. laundry, mine and the girls. i also folded it and put most of it away!
2. the dishes, a daily task in my house.
3. i changed the garbages. I usually try to neglect this and leave it for my dh to do, but since he's on the road, it has since become my responsibility.
4. watched 90210! Omg that show is way too ful of suspense!
5. I caught up in the blogging world, and checked in with Momdot. Now i shall try to read some of Twilight tonight to get closer to getting it done!
My favorite treats:
doughnuts, ice cream, chocolate, the late night bowl of cereal, lol. i also love halloween candy! i cant wait!
3 bad habits (or things I would change about myself)
1. biting my nails!
2. i get stressed out way too easily. I just need to start taking things like a grain of salt. no use in getting all worked up, just makes things worse.
3. I need to stop being so addicted to the blogging life and get my house in order before it falls in around me, lmfao!
If I were suddenly a billionaire, I would:
set up all my kids college funds, pay off the house, build a new home on hundreds of acres of land, share it with those I love, give to charities and the church. buy my mom a home here so she wont have to worry anymore!
Places I have lived:
Michigan (all over)
Las Vegas, NV
Lawrenceburg, KY (where I am now)
My current Jobs I've had:
burger king, church's chicken, dairy queen, office max, walmart, taco bell. and the happiest, SAHM and housewife!
5 things most people don't know about me...
1.i complain a lot! like i have a hard time letting things go and just keep complaining about it.
2. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 22. Yes, 22. Never had the chance to really get it when I was 16. Then I didn't have the money for it, or a car to use.
3. When I'm home alone, i sleep with the lights on, hehehe. im a scaredy cat, what can i say?
4. I had to grow up faster than the average teenager. Not just bc i got pg at 17 and had a baby at 18, but bc I was pretty much left to raise myself. I hated it. I couldn't go out and have fun with my friends on the weekends or even on school nights. But now i wouldn't have it any other way bc i wouldnt be where i am today if all that wouldnt have happened.
5. I am NOT a neat freak! I let the dishes go for a couple days, i let the laundry pile up. I shove trash into the can even when it cant hold anymore. i hate dusting, sweeping, and mopping. lol
5 people i will tag are:
1. Mimi
2. Andrea
3. Bridgette
4. Heather
5. Toni

Tackle it Teusday #2 10/7

So last week I said i was gonna go thru the kids room. Well that sort of happened. I so need to go thru their clothes, but I need them here so that'll be a weekend project. BUT I did have them go through their shoes and some of their toys. So i takled some of it. lol. never got to my room. and it had rained a little bit so i didnt need to wash my truck, hahaha.

on to my tackle its for this week.

Tackle #1: MY Room....I've actually started on it, and it already looks so much better. But there's still so much to get done. I probably wont get done until the end of the week, but Im working on it.

Tackle #2: i need to desperately sweep and mop the kitchen and hardwood! It hasnt been done in a week, but with 3 kids it looks like its been a month!

Tackle #3: I need to go thru some boxes in the garage and see what's for Goodwill and what needs to be kept for the kids this winter.
Tackle #4: we've been cleaning up the garage, since we just now figured out there is a full attic with a bunch of storage space. This started on Saturday, and we've been going thru all the boxes and putting them up in the attic. We need more room in the garage for my hubby's motorcycle. And apparently since he is drowning in the estrogen pool (me and 3 kids), he's turning part of it into a *man cave* LOL! Hopefully this will get done.

Also don't forget to head on over to 5 Minutes For Mom and check out other Tackle it Tuesday posts!

A blog about nothing

I originally came on here to just check for updates and such, and i came across a recent post by Jen at Cheaper Than Therapy. It was a blog about nothing in particular. And I must say I've never really wanted to blog about just anything bc, well, im afraid of coming off as babbling. And I would think my readers, yes you, wouldnt like that. lol. But she inspired me, so here goes!

im gonna do my first blog about nothing! i hope you enjoy. lol.

So you've seen my blog about my dh changing job positions. if not see blog below. and today was my first day alone with all 3 kids by myself. it wasn't the best day. they all got on my last nerve and i was about to lose my mind! Jasmine couldn't find her missing soccer cleat. Jessi was being all whiney as soon as she walked in the door from school, and that just set me off on a screaming tyrant! and then Heather, poor boo, isn't feeling good, and didn't want to eat. But amazingly we made it to soccer practice on time. That was another chore in itself. I figured Heather would want to play with Jessi on another field with a soccer ball, and a few other kids that were there. But NO, she wanted to be on the field with Jasmine right in the middle of it all! So i was like runnin around chasing her to no end. I forgot how much energy little ones have, i was wore out by the time the hour long practice had ended.

So we get home, and i tell the kids they have to clean their room before i go in there and throw everything away. im sick of looking at it, lol. i didnt make the mess, im not cleaning it. but i do seriously need to go in there and go thru their stuff and get rid of some old clothes, shoes, and toys. but they know how to keep the room clean, but they just refuse to for some reason. it kills me. the room FINALLY gets cleaned after being in there for about an hour.

now they are all in bed sleeping soundly, YAY! Yay for mommy time! I love this time. I just hate being alone sometimes and wish my hubby didn't have to be out on the road. But we need money to survive. we're barely makin it right now. our savings is completely tapped out. we have house ins due on the 16th and have no clue how we're gonna pay that. my truck needs fixed, and we're supposed to go to michigan for Thanksgiving. and now it's time to start shopping for the holidays! It just never freaking ends! i just want to crawl under a rock, lol.

Someone please save me from going insane. Enough babbling for now. Im gonna go read some of Twilight and then probably go to bed. Until next time my friends....

I Remember When...#1 10/5

Deb from Mom of 3 Girls has started a new meme this week! There's a new question each week. You should check it out!

This week’s topic is:
“I remember when… I first moved away from home“. Whether to college, living with a friend or family member - what are your memories of the first time you lived away from home?

And don't forget to sign her Mr. Linky and check out other participants.

So I remember when i first moved away from home. I was 17, young and in love. I dropped out of high school and moved to Las Vegas with him and his sister. The trip was long, 47 hours! but we all made it in one piece. I soon ended up pregnant. I was terrified. I had no family around, and very few friends. the experience wasn't good or fun. but i stayed. i knew i had to try and make it work for the baby's sake. and it worked for 2 years until he was too far involved with drugs to care about us anymore. so i left and came home to my dad, with my 1 year old (at the time) baby girl. And I hate Las Vegas so much, i don't care if i ever get back there to visit.

My dh starts his new position

Tonight and in style! This is the best truck he's been given to drive. All the others were old and had a lot of problems. But this here is an 07 freightliner, not even broken in yet! The inside is absolutely huge! And the sleeper hasn't been slept in. Well, I'm sure it has but it has a brand new mattress that no one has slept on. I'm sad to see him go back out on the road, but its better this way. He just wasn't making the money he used to when he was local. So I'll miss him thru the week bc my bed will feel so empty but there will be the occasional time he can stop thru during the week and he'll be home every weekend.

Alhoa Friday #2

It's that day of the week again. I love Friday's...it's the end of the week, the hubby doesn't have to work, and we get family time!
Here's my question for this week, and remember it doesn't need to be anything with a lengthy response.
What is your favorite holiday?
Mine is Christmas! We get to spend time with family members we dont often see, and just spend the day together!
And dont forget to head on over to An Island Life to check out more Aloha Friday questions and answers.

Momdot contest!!

How cute is this?! Momdot is having a great contest with a combi stroller! You should head on over there and check it out. It's so super easy to enter. Just head over to combi and browse around look for something other than a stroller you would like to have or need. Then in the same entry explain why you need the stroller. How simple! UGH! Here we go...

So dh wakes me up this morning. says *we have a problem* and Im all like *what do you mean?* then I hear someone crying, im totally not awake yet, so it's all oblivious to me still. Then I realize it's Jasmine. She's crying her eyes out! and holding her hear. poor thing has a really bad ear ache, but no fever, YET. I'll be takin her in to the dr today. i guess this is the beginning of the sicknesses yet to come. she's already had strep throat since the beginning of school. now this. who's next, and what will the sickness be? i hate school for this reason. no one keeps their sick kids home, and in turn, my child comes home sick! AHHH...just keep your kid home when they are sick and not feeling good. Trust me school is the last place a kid wants to be when they're sick. Thank you very much!
